Assessment against a Global Standard
The standards behind Certiport's globally recognized certification programs have been endorsed by international digital literacy qualifications authorities and aligns with other highly regarded technology standards.
Certiport sponsors the work of the Global Digital Literacy Council (GDLC), which represents a global delegation of key stakeholders, including corporate executives, government officials, academicians and industry luminaries—all focused on the identification of issues, definition of best practices, and research and development of programs related to Global Digital Literacy.
Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR) is a leading UK awarding body, providing a wide range of qualifications to meet the needs of learners of all ages and abilities. Certiport and OCR established a partnership to incorporate the Certiport IC³® into the OCR CLAIT Suite of IT user qualifications. This collaboration enables OCR to maximize relevancy for today's workplace and expands the OCR CLAIT Suite's market reach to meet the growing demand for digital literacy.
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and Certiport formed a strategic alliance designed to provide assessment tools for ISTE's widely adopted National Educational Technology Standards (NETS). The initial focus of the alliance led to Certiport IC³® being awarded the NETS seal of alignment.

Certiport has partnered with pillars of the courseware industry to leverage a full range of learning solutions leading to certification: This includes online learning, computer-based training, and more traditional hardcopy offerings.
Since 1989, Course Technology has been publishing innovative texts and creative electronic learning solutions to help educators teach, students learn, and individuals expand their interest in and understanding of emergent and current technologies, including study and preparation materials that meet quality specifications for Microsoft®, Adobe®, Certiport, and other certification programs. Course Technology began its partnership with Certiport in 1998.

With such renowned imprints as Addison-Wesley, Allyn & Bacon, Benjamin Cummings, Longman, Prentice Hall, and many others, Pearson provides quality education and certification learning solutions in all available media, spanning the post-secondary learning spectrum from college and career training through graduate studies and professional training and development. Pearson first began collaboration with Certiport in 1999.
CCI Learning Solutions Inc. creates and delivers world class certified solutions on behalf of industry-leading partners such as Microsoft, Adobe and Certiport in North America for IT training providers in academia and business to certify participants with world leading global IT certification. As organizations are continually looking to increase productivity and academic institutions are increasingly recognizing the need to align to industry level standards, CCI Learning Solutions helps bridge the gap from training to certification. This focus helps individuals and organizations achieve the global industry validation skills from Microsoft®, Adobe® or Certiport that are necessary for success in the 21st Century. CCI Learning Solutions has worked with Certiport since 1999.
In Demand Training Solutions (formerly DDC Training Services) has been creating training materials for schools and teachers for over 30 years. In Demand offers hands-on training for educators interested in strengthening and expanding their technical knowledge, providing individualized instruction in a group setting. In Demand keeps teachers up-to-date on new technology, practical computer applications, and the Internet. In Demand Training Solutions has partnered with Certiport since 1998 in training and certifying teachers and integrating certification into student curriculum.
Founded in 1807, John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has been a valued source of information and understanding for 200 years, helping people around the world meet their needs and fulfill their aspirations. Wiley's core businesses publish scientific, technical, medical and scholarly journals, encyclopedias, books, and online products and services; professional/trade books, subscription products, training materials, and online applications and websites; and educational materials for undergraduate and graduate students and lifelong learners. In 2006, Wiley became Microsoft's official academic publishing partner worldwide for all Microsoft Official Academic Course (MOAC) texts, the approved learning material for college courses that provide training and certification in Microsoft technologies.
Practice Tests
Practice tests provide a simulated exam experience to build familiarity with the exam environment and to lower test-taking anxiety when sitting for the real exam.

Certiport and First Advantage Assessment Solutions have partnered since 2001 in creating digital literacy learning and testing solutions. Based on the Certiport IC³ digital literacy standard, First Advantage developed a performance-based practice test that simulates the IC³ experience seamlessly. First Advantage Corporation combines industry expertise with information to create products and services that organizations worldwide use to make smarter business decisions.
Certification & Skills Verification
Validation comes as skills are measured against accepted standards. Certiport's globally recognized certification programs map well with other highly regarded IT, work skills, and critical-thinking assessments and certifications.

Educational Testing Service (ETS) and Certiport established a partnership to create a solution leveraging their assessment and certification programs around digital literacy and critical thinking with regard to information and communications technologies (ICTs).
CompTIA and Certiport have mapped a career path that begins with Certiport's Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³®) and the official Microsoft Office certification programs and leads into the globally recognized CompTIA A+ Service and Support program. A+ and other industry-accepted CompTIA certifications, such as Network+, Server+ and i-Net+, in turn lead to higher-level vendor-sponsored and vendor-neutral technical certifications.
Employment, Productivity & Advancement
Advancement is the natural outgrowth of the certification process: Certiport helps certified workers make the most of their credentials through partnerships with a worldwide staffing agency, college credit recommendation body, and a continuing education units awarding body.
Certiport's strategic staffing partnership with Kelly Services, a worldwide leader in human resource solutions, aims to develop and certify the skills of Kelly employees and to provide for the placement of candidates who have proven their skills through Certiport Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³®), Microsoft® Office Specialist, Microsoft Certified Application Specialist and Adobe® Certified Associate certification programs.
Both Certiport Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³®) and the Microsoft® Office certification programs have earned ACE credit recommendations for college education. Using ACE college credit recommendations allows individuals to earn potential college credits by demonstrating their knowledge is college-level equivalent. To be eligible to earn ACE college credit recommendations, individuals need to at least meet the minimum passing score requirements for each certification or examination that is taken.
Certiport and IACET partnered to offer continuing education units (CEU) for developing skills and achieving credentials such as Certiport Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³®), Adobe Certified Associate and the official Microsoft® Office certification programs. One (1) IACET CEU is equal to ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. Under IACET's care, the IACET CEU has evolved from a quantitative measure to a hallmark of quality training and instruction.
